Residents, staff, and community gathered this weekend for a reception and celebration of artists whose art work is displayed in our public art gallery. The festivities began with the serenading sounds of the Southern Maryland Harp Circle while guests mingled, shared their art backgrounds and snacked on delicious cookies. Residents were excited to finally meet the artists behind the talent they've been enjoying for over 3 months!

Thirty-six artists were later honored during a ceremony where Veterans Home Director Sharon Mattia and Charles County Arts Alliance President Robert Rausch presented certificates and offered appreciation for their participation in the show.
